traditionally always good close battles between these two clubs.....EF seem to be getting into the contest more and for longer.....just don't seem to have the confidence or quality of skills to finish things off......WP had a dogs day in front of goal....bar Rudy of course.....so I expect them to straighten up kicking wise in front of goals this week....though you never know :P

Great debut from young Tom Bennett from all accounts.....would like to see 2016 colts F&B Matt Burton get a run soon......LA hopefully will be back to help counter the midfield prowess of WP Black and Nelson.....once again WP seem to have a few more options up front though.....goals win games come end of the day.....and EF seem to struggle to get them sadly......be interested to see if EF can bring that endeavour they showed against SD and SF with a bit more skill savvy to get the four points.....time will tell I guess....

Colts seem to be flying at present though SF and Perth's colts aren't much chop TBH....though good wins over SD and Cl and close loss to Peel seem to indicate EF colts are top 5 material at least.....

The reserves have been up n down....pushed top of the table SF reserves till the end.....just need more goals to be honest......similar theme there me thinks.....

I also think we can pinch this one. Week and a bit off- not too long but enough to freshen up and hopefully LA and McNamara get up.

The returning WP players will be the tell here
Much will come down to the team picked to hit the park for WP and if our strength gets bolstered or just tweeked.

Cant see the misses in front of goal continuing ..haha but you never know I guess
And yes
I agree the games between our two clubs are usually much better than the average opinions that manage to be heard or written for all to consider

That's what makes the game great - on the day its all about who brings their A game to the ground for the 4 Qtrs ;)

While its an opportunity for the Sharks, it's a massive game for WP. Especially with Claremont and Peel playing each other

Will be down for this one for old times sake. Love the Shark Pit. :cheer:
As others say always a good game.
Considering WP effort last week in just getting over the line v Perth and their game V SF where beaten by huge margin I see WP as being amongst the also runs this year but then that applies to 6 clubs in the comp who make up the numbers in a Dead comp where there is no even playing field.
Looking at EF effort against a very good side V SF where they led for a lot of the game and fell over at the end it shows they have the ability to take on any team. Having watched the game on TV I thought EF have a few passengers in their team at the moment in fairness it could come down to inexperience on their part as well.
Should be good game of WAFL footy on a fine day. Look forward to having a few beers and catching up with a few guys.

Mick Malthouse once said that the more games you win the closer you are to a loss. Surely the reverse is the same?

Apparently some rain due to fall tomorrow and Friday.
Even though Saturday and Sunday looks like being fine, the track might be a bit heavy?
Saturday is going for a 26 degree, partly cloudy day. With light winds.

Yep, good question R. Twenty 17 had the driest April for 35 years.
And the 4th driest on record.
Unbelievable it is
