It looks like this is going to be one of the recommendations from the Boston Group Report. Does that mean it will be forced? Is there negotiating involved in this? I believe this has likely come about due to the poor financial position of the club.

It seems they want to get the number of teams down- and EF is probably in the worst position financially and with limited growth potential (Peel and maybe Swans saving grace)

I can't wait for the comments from the supporters of the WAFC. What a disgrace that anyone could suggest that East and South Freo should merge and the godless wasted space that is the Peel FC should remain. If that is the quality of their recommendations then the WAFC should take all legal means to recover its payment.

That's right , hence my point its not about us, its about the future.

There are other ways to get around this. SF/EF merging is not one of them.

They wont touch Peel, current and potentiality growth in the area too high. Agree with Bazza though, may not be any better options.

The whispers have been around for a few days now....

Would hope that the WAFC or SF and EF clubs might make a statement re their thoughts?

Personally lets hold our breath and see what is put on the table out of the Boston Review and see what is proposed?
