Seems like only yesterday EF fans were staring with disbelief at that 80pt hammering of Subi a few weeks back...benchmark been set high there by the team, be interested to see how Wiley motivates the team for this weeks clash. Both sides will have a few back from injury, not too sure how bad LA finger injury is. That win over SF away with a few quality first liners out in Hampson, Eardley, D Anthony and Schofield out showed EF does have depth outside their top 22. Subi have a shed load of depth too, missing a 1/3 of their first 22 but still nearly scoring the 4 pts v Peel.

Expect a close one here, Subi will want to atone for that 80 pt drubbing and EF wanting to show that win wasnt a fluke.....would more than happily meet Subi half way and win by 40! ;) Subi colts have strugglef this year but snared a draw v EF last time, hopefully EF colts with their skipper back will get over the line. Subi's reserves are always more than competitive and hopefully with a first liners back in the league side EF will be strengthen with a few guys dropping back and a few returning from injury too like Bannister, Green, Barone etc.

Good luck to all 3 grades.......

Good summation Freeze, plenty of motivation for my mob given the last game against the Sharks plus they would be absolutely frothing at the mouth after the debacle with the Freo princesses and their cheating contrived result.

Will be interesting to see who comes back for us, the club newsletter suggesting Delahunty, Twoemy, Robinson & Lockyer will be available, quite a handy group, not sure Lockyer will come straight back in after such a long injury layoff but they may consider it such an important game they will take the risk.

Depending on results we could have all top 5 teams on the same points after this round, Souths will still have 1 game in hand over the other 4 so still in the box seat as Flag favorites.

Should be cracker of a game. Injuries to both teams atm so whoever can get back some key players may have the advantage.

L.Anthony spent 2 nights in hospital after the derby with a badly fractured finger so not so confident he'll be back. Hampson & Eardley close but not sure if it will be this week?

C.Green was suspended by MRC for 3 weeks against Peel and Barone had a nose op which hasn't cleared so is having the remainder of the season off.

Would be nice if the club could put up an injury list now & again. I've only seen one for the season.

Peake is in awesome form, still quick despite his age and reads the game like a book so important decision as to who gets him, if Lockyer is back maybe put Heal on him, whoever it is needs to play a disciplined game. Would be a great challenge for young Bryan who has shown some real class since he came into the team, has the pace size and poise to go with Peake. At the other end the Gummies will need to think how to cover both Yarran & Ryan.

Reckon the silver fox has kicked his lot for the season after that state game DG....didn't realise LA finger was that bad....did he have an op Rock?...if so that's 4 weeks minimum surely? Eardley and Hampson injuries have lingered longer than thought...with Jacob Green leading the reserves comp goal kicking, I wonder if Wiley gives him another go soon? Though tough ask to play against Subi's defence....Simpson surely will be in line for a return, his x-factor will be needed to stretch Subi's defence, from memory did well in that 80 point win v Subi last time.
