Cmon BC doubt I would pay to go just to watch him! Going back in the day Subi had a couple I would have paid just to watch in Warren Dean at his best and of course Buckenara before that and other opp players in their prime would be M.Rioli, W.Ralph etc but McPharlin isn't in their class I don't believe. Great if he plays WAFL again though as he was a great AFL servant

no mate...if Subi were playing in the far flung outer reaches as I've set out in my earlier I would go to Shark Park as I live near there and watching MacPharlin would be an added attraction given we don't have the likes of Rioli playing these days. Interesting you mention Mr Magic...growing up in Freo and even being a Subi supporter I can truly say he's my favourite WAFL player of all time..sublime skills and all class.

no arguments there bazza...interestingly I went to school with Robyn Collard who went on to marry Maurice. The Collard family lived around the corner from me and were the nicest people you'd ever want to meet.

Interesting BC, what school was that - I cannot beleive he is no longer with us.

The Collard seniors, lived next door to us in Wattleup. Great people.

both champs A-man, fabulous players. South had plenty of them in that 78-83 period. Suprising SF managed one flag in that time given the talent they had. Especially in 1983 when they dominated that season.

Yep, some people find it hard to focus.
Be interesting to see if Wiley can get something more out of the boys. I think though, he's going to need more than his excellent past. Couple of those ever talked about big forwards would be handy, but with the $'s of the league, we can't compete with them
