Geez who ever loses this game is gonna feel very low.......though I guess the Perth boys cant feel any lower then they do right now.......both sides cant buy a goal let a lone kick them......the last time EF kicked any of any note was 10 in the first quarter v Perth.....so it is gonna be interesting to see who kicks them!

Great to see Perth youngster Marshall Jones come in and kick a few......no disrespect to the kids ability but sure EF youngster Luke Strnadica is just as good enough to do the same?......what has EF got to lose?.......not saying to flood the league side with colts boys.......but Perry stepped up v SD and kicked a few.....cant se why Dodd cant blood one a game till the season is out......from all reports WA are not gonna have many drafted this year.....the likes of Snadden, Bennett, Parish, Cronan et al had average carnivals and more than likely wont be drafted....one can assume if they stay at EF next year they will all be pushing for a league game.......why not a taste now?

The Mortons always have fun v EF.....especially Mitch.....touch wood EF defence can close him down.....thru the middle it should be a good battle between Trops and ROB......great to see Trops playing consistent footy each week fot Perth......opportunity does that I guess......up front BOB really needs to turn those 4.4 and 3.5 efforts into 7.1 or 8.0 for EF to win......who else is there to help him?......Young perhaps?.......or will Anthony go forward again? Bristow kicked 4 v Perth last time but TBH his form due to injury has been average of late......

Some solid performances of late v SF, EP and Peel......horror performance v Cl and well a loss v Subi aint something to whinge about these days.......Perth will desperate to atone for the Subi loss.......and their season so far.........like I said who ever loses is gonna be very low indeed.

Reserves did well v SF for a half, then failed to return to the playing field after half time......was Ellis injured?....be interesting to see if Dodd debuts anyone else.....what does Schliecher need to do to get back in the league side?

Colts were thankfull Peel, Cl and SF all lost on the weekend.....need a win here to consolidate a top 3 berth and that second chance.....Perth colts are playing well from all reports.......great 2nd half by the EF colts boys in the derby, cant afford to do that very often though and win.....been a long time EF have won more than 1 grade this season.......ditto for Perth too!

EF should win this easily, all of those EF youngsters will be running all over the top of those P veterans at the end of the game ...apparently that is the logic espoused by the EF expert!

Leave out injured players. Select the team to win this game right now forget next year, planning, having a look at players. Give the supporters something to smile about.

Obviously that SD loss has hit you harder than I thought BH......pretty sure Perth are playing a pretty young side, dont see too many guys as experienced as Notte, Ames, Davis, Riggio, Geappen et al running around for them.....actually dont think Peel had too many either besides veterans Jones, Jetta and Griffen.......fingers crossed then EF youngsters dont get all complacent and stop running as SD youngsters apparantly did in the last 10 mins v Peel ...

BH...I will just be pleased if EF can kick straight TBH v Perth this weekend, let alone a winning score!

Be surprised if there was to many changes happening from the side that played South to be honest. Why not promote some of those colts into the Development side for the rest of the season at least? This would help promote the meaning of having a reserves side instead of having players fill spots in the side who in reality will probably never play league football. Perhaps a Colts finals appearance holds priority?
