Always good contests between the two Easts, EF jumped them in Gero with a 10 goal 1st quarter, then did nothing after that to win the 4 pts. Going off the injury list O'Reilly and Murphy join Boekhorst with season ending injuries....whilst Leggett is 2 weeks away after that nasty hamstring injury he sustained....and Tucker 2 weeks away with his hand injury.

The contest  between Jones and Goddard should be a good one, whilst the contest between the EF and EP mids another good one as well. Not sure Bonomelli or Simpson will play against their old clubs in the league game....handy to have Simpson back though for the finals, even as back up. 

EF with more  to gain I guess from this match....though would like to finish off the season with a win no doubt. Can't see SF, Cl or WP losing, so EF needs to win to secure a top 3 spot.....as much as I would like to see SD beat Peel, logic suggests Peel will secure that 5th spot and unless the WBD can beat Freo, no side wants to play a Freo stacked  Peel side in the elimination final.....

Well it looks like the game is not being moved from the mudheap in preparation for the GF. More rain about and 3 grades playing on it tomorrow aint going to help either. But the clowns at the WAFC know what their doing don't they?. Those same clowns have told Sportsfm 11 Dockers is the cap should Peel make the finals. 

Great effort to finish in 2nd spot, kudos to the coaching team and players.....lost some big outs before the season started, mid season and in the latter part of the season.....probably will come back to bite EF before the season is out, but great to see the side develop as a whole and individuals within the  side grasp their opportunity with both hands.
