Obviously another good opportunity for EF to cement their top 5 standing v WCER....can never take anything for granted.....no Baskerville and Murdock for this match, good to see Smith and Murphy come in though......be handy to win well here, as % will no doubt play a part in who finishes where come finals time.....Marsh is due a few, but more then happy for the team to spread the goal kicking around and EF win the game.....geez I hate these games.....go in odds on favourites, something EF hasn't done for a few years TBH.

We should go in and take percentage with this one.  Only problem being, is that I’m the perennial pessimist when it comes to footy.  Worry is my middle name

7 Perth rejects in their side, that’s a third of their team.

Was speaking with old mate on the phone and apparently East  Fremantle are paying a dollar 15 for the win. They haven't been priced that low for quite a long time. They would be looking at a healthy winning margin to keep ahead of South Fremantle. Swans are no certainties of beating Souths today because they not won a match at the port for 7 or 8 seasons so people say. A East Fremantle win today will see them retain second placing on the league ladder at the completion of this weeks fixturing.

Sportsbet had Easts at 1.10 when I looked so maybe there were takers of the easy 15 cents for every dollar. Line was mid 30's so 10 goals in the end was not too bad. Possession was about even for the sides but we were well ahead on the I50's count. Probably should have won by about 14 or 15 goals.

Kicking 1.7 in the 3rd is probably the reason why EF didn't win by that 15 goal margin in the end Ti Em.

Going to be some interesting discussions atcthe selection table next week for the derby.....one would hope Baskerville and Murdock will be back.....

Cody Smith kicking 3 goals adds another forward target up front....interesting to see Bonomelli kick 4.4 v P in his  EP debut.

I couldn’t watch the first half, but when I tuned in just into the 3rd quarter, I was fairly pissed.  Terrible kicking for goal and silly turnovers.  All’s forgiven for the 4th!!!  Now for the old enemy.  No stuffing around against these blokes or you pay the price.

Good win and top of the ladder after 12 rounds. I read in the match report that Goddard was reported for hitting Clark. Disappointing if he misses games.

Boekhorst, Eardley and Jansen all excellent again. Thought English, Smith, Lester-Smith and Tassone all serviceable as well. Kicked nearly 100 points without Marsh kicking a goal.

SF next week- another big challenge

Goddard gone for 2 games....big loss, what was he thinking?....don't envy McGuire"s task v Free, Miller and Strom...but great challenge for the young fella...perhaps Simpson will make his EF debut, to help as a back up ruck.....not really what he was recruited for....sounds like it is going to be very wet on Sat....perhaps that maybe a blessing.....hopefully Baskerville and Murdock will be back....very strong midfield if they are.....will need to be without our number 1 ruck.

Dont worry Freeze, I think you'll be ok, Subi won a couple of flags without a genuine ruckman.
