Geez it must over 40 odd years since EF had  3 consecutive wins over Subi.....definitely not done it this century...
Like Subi, EF should be getting a few important players back.....Marsh and Braut for Subi.....Baskerville and Schoenfeld for EF.

Will new recruit Eddie Simpson debut in the league.....or will he have to earn his stripes via the reserves.....especially since his form for EP wasn't that exciting pre tsf. I wonder who makes way for Baskerville and Schoenfeld? 

Yes who makes way? Let's hope it isn't natural attrition. Anyone dropped after the win a fortnight ago would feel hard done by. Williamson might make way though he has been rather lively. Could be Corey Holmes or Aiken-Featherstone. The later was listed as amongst the best against the Dockers though.

Given that Holmes and Featherstone were the last ones in, they'd likely be the first out. Murphy and Smith should be available as well but probably not locks to return straight away. Unless there's an injury- you'd expect Simpson to start in the Reserves, though playing him would allow Jansen to stay in the midfield. Good problems to have.

Subi will be breathing fire, so I'd expect a much tighter contest than the last 2 games

Yep a healthy position to be in for sure.....Smith I reckon will come back in, like Jansen he is 193 cm big body and helps out with some height up forward......Subi's defence has some quality, so Marsh will be under the pump once again.....though he has done well v Subi of late. Borchet, Sokol and Matera will definitely need containing for sure......though EF defence has been more then steady this year, with the skipper leading the way as usual.

Good to see Schoenfeld and Baskerville back......also some depth in the reserves this weekend......no doubt the rain will suit Subi, especially navigating around  Leederville oval on a wet arvo....can see this being a hard slog for both sides.....will go down to the wire.....Subi can't afford to lose tomorrow......

Still scratching my head to this very day how EF blew that game kicking 7.26 BC......

Great win by EF today.....fast start and stayed there all day......pretty sure the rain kept the margin respectable for Subi.....obviously not the Subi of years gone by, but any win against them is a good achievement.....nice spread of goal kickers again......

Boekhorst continues his stellar season, smokey for the Sandover perhaps....isn't the Goddard signing a godsend......whilst EF defence just keep on doing what they have done all year.....

Well done to Reuben McGuire and his jumper design also, kicked a couple to cap off a good day for the young man.

Thats the one BC, although I got it wrong, it was 7.26.  I still think back on the odd occasion that it was a lost opportunity.  

It was a real hard day for both sides and I reckon the final siren would have been the best thing they heard all day.  I saw my pet hate today, forget who it was.  When you’re 10/15 metres out you don’t let the man on the mark touch the ball to turn a certain goal into a point.  Fucks sake, when you’re that close, give it more air.
