If Teakle and Sebit fail to play an AFL game for the remainder of this season,the WAFL needs to grow a spine and veto this midseason draft B.S. because these AFL clubs are abusing the whole process as well as sabotaging teams seasons.

Think Teakle only signed a 6 month contract, some got 18 month contracts....I think the Kebuk signing is a travesty.....just a sneaky mid season  recruit for Peel....

Just been announced that Teakle is making his debut for Port Adelaide this weekend. Great opportunity for him and I hope he goes well.

Was just listening to a Kane Cornes SEN podcast.The word is  after 1 game in the Sanfl for the Magpies.Port are really wrapped  with Teakle.

There's already talk of trading Sam Hayes over the summer.As ruckmen have big currancy in the draft.And Port need legspeed,winger-outside mid.
Kane also believes if Teakle strings together a couple of serviceable games.There will be a good contract waved in front of his nose.
The midseason draft has multiple negatives.For the club losing a star player without fair compensation.But this story is shaping up as a win for Port and the young Sharks ruckmen.

Port went into the mid season rapefest for the right reasons, they needed a ready made big man, but Freo just wanted to strengthen their reserves team, they had no need for any additional players as they have few if any gaps in their list that cant be covered by their existing listed players. Who in the current Freo team would be dropped to make way for Kuek?

SS, Teakle wasn't even EF number 1 ruck heading into the season and even when Strnadica got snapped up, Goddard seems to be EF number one ruck, even when Teakle was playing. Find it interesting that Hamish Free didn't get a mention during the MSD......number one ruck down at SF, having a great season easily the comps number 1 ruck......

Good luck to Teakle though....  fantastic opportunity for the guy.....if Port don't make the finals and EF some how do, hopefully Teakle can come back and play WAFL finals, like Parker did for SF last year.
