As far as I can see in the West Coast WAFL team named, there are 3 listed players. This doesn't include any possible emergencies. I'd say it's going ahead.

Well its silly bollocks isn't it. West Coast Eagles reserves? who in that that team is going to play for them in the AFL? The arrogance of that organization is just breathtaking. With the disgraceful situation of attending the state game mostly off limits for WAFL fans we are sinking to a very low ebb at the moment. Probably not the percentage bonanza for the Sharks you mention with 3 guys out on state duties, Goddard out and possible rain tomorrow. Good to see Tom Marshall get a call up. 

 

The Eagles continue to embarrass themselves and make a mockery of the WAFL. 

Not sure the difference between that WCER side named this week to the one not named last week....only difference is, the EF side named this week is a lot a weaker then the one they would of named last week.    🤔 

Tuned into the live stream coverage of the "game" and honestly what an embarrassment it is to the WAFL. The Sharks are filling their boots as they must but this is just a complete joke. Don't forget EF are also missing their state players. There would be very few players in that Eagles team who would be up to WAFL standard. 

I felt inclined to log on and post similar Mike. I had a look at the streaming for a bit. It makes me bloody sad to see what has been allowed to happen to this competition. It’s just appalling.

Why is the match being played at East Fremantle Oval?  I thought that the place was being revamped or is there a hold up?

Yep its just depressing to watch. I suppose the Sharks fans would be enjoying it although they would be aware it is a hopeless mismatch. I think if a side can't field a team and have to borrow players from the opposition it should be a forfeit. The Amateur leagues dont give their opponents that sort of assistance.

Lucky the Eagles pushed for the postponement of this game. It could have been embarrassing had it been played last week.

Forget last week Ted, today was a monumental embarrassment for West Australian football.  It should have been cancelled and the points awarded to EF.  Of course, I’m rapt with the percentage boost (when was the last time EF were on top of the ladder?).  But I just get a bit of an empty feeling.
