Agree with Stavros, toomany blokes wanted the glory, rather than the right option. It wasnt so much the innacuracy IMHO, more the wrong option/s

I only caught the final 10 minutes of the broadcast on 91.3FM. I recall the commentators discussing a passage of play where we had 2 players in deep in the forward line & Howlett took a shot at goal & missed. From the feed back on this thread it sounds like we missed a golden opportunity to win the competition & the 100k. $50000 is still good compensation for the club's efforts.

However, I am very proud of the club with both their performances in the 3 foxtel cup games & in having turned around their season to a large extent in the home & away games. The performances over the last 6 games are encouraging & at least show that the side has improved.

Despite the ups & downs this season & the absence of a large number of our AFL players, we have continued to develop players like Lester Smith & McDougal. The signs are promising for both the rest of this season & next season onwards despite the large contingent of AFL players that will be moving on.

I'm really looking forward to our remaining 3 games against quality opposition to see how far our improvement goes. If we are good enough to win those remaining 3 games we deserve to play finals.

I would be very surprised if all the money for both clubs are only dispersed amongst the players....the club will get a fair bit imo

Not sure as I never saw tv last night but can verify of not hearing any update scores or broadcast on radio. None at all!

Struggling to get my head around 2 goals 16. Deeper analysis would be much too painful so one to resign to the far recesses of my melon.
