Why would any East Perth fan buy a membership next year after they took this decision without having a vote from the members? I would be appalled if that happened at Swans!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

That's why peoples emails and letters were not being answered by East Perth! They were too damned busy 'doing the deal'

And reading between the lines in the article on the back page of the newspaper dated (Thurs 01 Nov 2012), is easy to decipher. According to the news reports the deal is for 5 years. However Steve Rosich has said, "It could go on for a very long time. We hope it does. We're approaching this arrangement on that basis."

To all the East Perth blokes , dont drop your club , if you have blue and black balls thats who you are. If you object to the alignment then get stuck into your clubs administrators. I have protested to the commision and have complained to Brett. I cant emagine Nic Naitanui or Mark Lecras in a Royals jumper, its crazy. There has to be backlash from the WAFL community and i think the best way is to protest over and over again. Also how about we who object to this crazy dictatorial / authoritarian decision meet at a pub or someones house and draw up a list of objections and present this to Mr Colin Barnett, after all it is an election year. OR we take this to the opposition leader. I am a believer that sometimes you have to go to the top. What do think boys.

Stephen Smith might be better at a federal level as he is Swan Districts no. 1 ticket holder. Also Julia has met Swans players in QLD, and will know of the work they do. Julia growing up in SA, and also an aussie rules supporter may have some push with the federal sports minister. Might threaten federal funding cuts to the WAFC and their plans for a new stadium at Burswood.

My two cents worth.

No it certainly will not be the same :( For those that can go out and support another Wafl club that would be a good way to go.
I'd end up giving the football away altogether :(
Probably bring all the fishing gear out of storage and get amongst the fish to pass away the Saturdays. Plenty of good fishing places down around the s/w coastal areas.
