the sooner the better all these AFL boys are at one club I say....then it will be EP and Peels problem playing fella's for portions of games and in specific positions....even though the need to put some one some where else in order to win a game won't be the priority.....

can't imaging going to a game knowing that winning the game won't be top priority.....TBH can't imagine playing for a side, technically when you aren't really part of the sides over all plan, will be very hard....not too sure how a non AFL listed player is gonna feel about that......the game is up for grabs and one of your AFL listed boys is kicking a bag and dominating....he comes off in the last stanza because Woosha/Lyon says he's only allowed to play so many minutes and seconds of a game......or one of your AFL listed youngsters is getting hammered by the opposition, isn't allowed to be moved because it will further his development, even though 4 points are on the line?...that's gonna be very frustrating for an EP or Peel fan.....and a local player who could of done better!

One good thing will be that there will be none of this 'rested' rubbish.....won't be enough players going around on match day if they did that LOL.......

Yep it was common sense because a lot of players wont get a league game with Peel or EP next year.. Gee makes for a dominating Reserves side doesnt it (almost a league side for the rest to take on so they would dominate League and Reserves )

This extract from the article says it all as 10/11 players who are now playing for other clubs this year will be in the Alignment sides. That leaves 11 spaces for local players not on a AFL contract Not many spots.. Ok they will still have their list of 55? but most of them will play ressies anyway for the whole season. This would be UNACCEPTABLE TO PLAYERS WHO ARE OF A LEAGUE STANDARD! So they will look around as the article and many supporters say.
FUCK THEM if they can rip us off we can rip them off.. Unless of course the Mighty WAFC/WAFL decides to change the rules again and dont let it happen?

Just imagine if the Aligned clubs because they have all AFL players had to stay within a salary cap... HYPOTHETICALLY Of course the AFL players will not come under the points system.

The G7 Clubs must work within the Points allocation for each club..
Yet Peel and EP will not... imagine if they did and had points added for the AFL players?

Ha thats ok you will have 11 AFL players in your side worth 10 points each = 110 points.. whoops that leaves 10 points for the REST of the team.

Well in WP case none as we have been penalised due to Salary cap breach and only have 110.. E.g As a result, the WAFC has applied discretion when determining the penalty and for the 2014 and 2015 seasons West Perth will lose 10 points each year off its total player point allocation, reducing the total amount to 120 points.

Its ok WAFC/WAFL you just change the rules to suit yourself.. EP and Peel can breach the salary cap every year THEORETICALLY yet the OTHER CLUBS MUST REMAIN WITHIN THE SALARY CAP AND THE POINTS SYSTEM.

Fremantle have had an average of 11 players in the WAFL every round this season while West Coast have had 10. While East Perth and Peel have confirmed that many of their senior players are contracted for next year, _The West Australian _ is aware of one player who has legal advice that his club's AFL partnership may void his contract.

I think I have said and will continue to say we SHOULD NOT be allowed to have any player who are not 0 points and the weagles players so 10 weagles played in the league team , not sure of the maths but I think we would be under the 130. Perhaps another way is to limit the points on a game by game basis, 100 and the rest play ressies but then we would have bleating about that! Perhaps rookies (U19) could play colts and think of the noise that would create and most of it would be from me with that one.

There is a simple solution and that is as I said 0 points for our list and 100 per game for the league.

I can't remember the last time the 3 Perth sides were all in the top 4 and by that I mean EP,WP and P.

surely East Perth should have to give up their name next year, when they can get other clubs best players for free then they are no longer a WAFL club as we know it..

The ferals best players in last saturdays game listed in todays west would've been the only ones in the league team if it was the year 2014...apart from Lycett that is. The other 14 would've been wce players...wulf just scraped in...

really can't see Johnson playing second fiddle to Lycett and Sinclair next year.....nor Smith behind McInnes or McGovern in the forward line.....those two boys are crucial to EP chances, having the WCE boys as top ups only helps EP chances this year.......

saying that EF are struggling and EP only fell over the line against them on Sat....gonna be awfully tight in any EP side that they throw out next year......kudos to any fella who isn't WCE listed for staying though.....not too sure what part of the development they will play though, especially if WCE coaches are involved.....two huddles at quarter, half and 3/4 time me thinks....gonna be awkward!!

Is the temperature Kelvin, Celsius or Fahrenheit, you could well be right but I still have it on good authority that for next year they aren't going anyhwere. That is also true of the bulk of the ressies side, contracts (for what they are worth).

But don't stop the theories it is all grist to the mill!
