A very good solid effort today.The last two weeks we have had two good wins against good teams in challenging conditions.losing Jones at the first bouncedown was a big blow.Fortunately even with windy conditions we were able to score at both ends.The changes in team have worked out well with Hille playing well and Randall playing a lot better this week and playing some midfield this week and showing he will make the midfield even stronger.
the big question is how we cover Scott Jones.We After playing a full round we now know that we are genuine final contenders but we cannot drop off form or be complacent.

Losing Scott Jones is a big loss, the strategy moving forwards is either to go with Jed Edwards or go with a small tandem of Bonomelli and Watts and bring Hayden or North back to cover that gap.

Amos has a lot of stuff outside of football so would not expect him to fill the void. Oh and Graham is still struggling with a hip issue but Fullgrabe might be back this week.

East Perth really look like genuine contenders now. They are as good a chance as anybody in the top 6 and should be aiming for a top 3 spot. Their recruiting of players and choice of coach has paid dividends

Hey Royal, i hear you blokes are off to Whiteman Park, new facility 40 mill and to be administered by Venues West. Don't make the same mistake as what we did.

At the start of the year i thought he might not be best 22 and just a depth player.Since coming back from injury he has been impressive.Also Robbo has been a revelation in the backline as i wasn't impressed with him in the forward line.Our recruits have been very good too unlike seasons past were you might get more bad than good.The recruit that has been great value is Zachary Raykos who last year was playing ammos.Makes you think how many good players playing ammos.I suppose it is a time thing and lack of money which makes Wafl less appealing to play.
