This looking like a vert tricky game from a month ago.Our form has dropped off and the Beagles have a few more Afl squad due to this being a sunday game.With Bono out we have a very short forward line.Medhat is  out of sorts.No point having  a Rolls Royce midfield and a Lada forward line.Midfield can't afford to bomb it into the forward line.Fed up with having more inside fifties and losing.

After last week's pathetic performance against the bulldogs anything is possible.Even Perth beat Souths.The Beagles will get better as they get  more players back as the year goes on.They will have nine afl listed  players tomorrow plus five other handy players so you cannot take things lightly.We have not played four good quarters yet.It is why we have only won three games.

Yes Chaddy,the Bulldogs fixture post alignment has generally gone down to the wire,and the other weeks effort,against what was arguably the weakest South side we've play on paper,was very disappoining,paticularly when we are armed with the knowledge that we had 4 state midfielders running around that day as as well as a state squad ruckman.

Heard on the telegraph wire the royals are currently lining up at one $ and five cents for the win. Which puts them in the drivers chair. After today's win, they will remain 6th on the league ladder by percentage. They should be able to boost their % today by at least 10 one would think.

Must be a relief you negotiated that danger game. Could have gone either way.

Terrible last quarter. Got out scored and only won by 74 points.With all the better sides beating West Coast by 100-150  i would say it was barely better then a loss.Ppercentage may count at the end of the year. and we didn't take advantage.

East Perth's opposition today currently have a loss record of minus 691 with an average losing margin of 95 to 100 pts. Given the fact the royals won by less than the average today might be seen as a bit of a bummer. Having said that, they have the four premiership points in the bank and currently 6th on the league ladder. It also gave them a good hit out and warm up for the big game next week against West Perth whom sadly lost this round. It would be fairly safe to say the top 6 teams are battling for spots in the top 5. As 6 doesn't go into 5, which team will miss out. The only question remaining is what order will the teams finish after the completion of the qualifying rounds?
This season is not even half way through & the other 3 teams may as well hang up their hats already. Swans, Perth and South's are just making up the numbers, all sad to say!

Thanks very much, gtrxuone, it would be nice if EP could finally knock off WP (it last happened in the corresponding fixture in 2019).
I still think there are lots of twists and turns to be had this season and any team bar West Coast is capable of embarking on a mini-winning run.
I reckon 10 wins might be enough for a finals berth, but if we see the bottom half of the competition pull off a few upset victories, then 9 wins and a good percentage might be enough.
