i see in todays west both east perth and subi want a 50 or 99 year peppercorn lease.the council doesn't seem interested in spending money on the facility.it looks like no night games as the lights are not up to standard.east perth's facilities are more dated then subi's but considering every other club are getting updated facilities it looks like it is up to both clubs to spend some money but only if the council acceptes a peppercorn lease.

Chaddy would EP contemplate a permanent move back to the newly redeveloped WACA if the deal was better than the last time?

i doubt it.i hated it when we were playing at the waca in the eighties.even with bigger crowds at the time it had no atmosphere.it was supposed to be a great deal for both east perth and perth which did not eventuate.sending two wafl clubs back to the waca i fear would be better financially for the waca then it's tennants.hopefully all parties come up with a plan which can modernise it for another 100 years.
