With only Wheeler and T E-B missing so far from last years GF side I'd be interested to know how others think we'll go this year. I think Wardman should blood as many of the youngsters as possible with Horsley retiring at the end of the year and the likes of Kitchin, Delahunty, Lockyer, Heal not far behind him. It might mean some pain this season but could guarantee sustained success in years to come. I reckon the core group are good enough to see us around the mark again this year but don't think we'll dominate as in the past.

BC. we haven't recruited anyone to cover Clang so hopefully that means one of the young talls will get a gig, the two Pilbara recruits look like ready made WAFL players, Dan Farmer will cover for T E-B's loss, lively forward/mid, cousin of Geof Farmer I believe, Lewis Upton sounds like a V good mature big bodied mid with plenty to offer, they may take a few games to get up to WAFL game speed but I expect they will be real assets. I think based on skill and fitness we have lost nothing from last year, Clang only played a handful of games, it will come down to hunger after such sustained success, if they can maintain that we will be hard to beat. Other teams will definitely improve so closer games and a few more losses are on the cards, but have a long way to make up the gap in skills, strength and fitness.

Subi fans, Perth voted against the recruiting changes. Does that mean you can go easy on us? Maybe beat us by 6-8 goals instead of the usual 10-12?

Subiaco would have had knowledge of that internally, maybe why Lachlan Delahunty recommended his cousin join Perth.

It’s true, our Prez made it very clear that PFC were against the changes.
If the rule changes are being used as a motivational tool within the club then I think it only fair that the situation be discussed accurately and that, as TN suggests, it not be brought into play against us.
So the drovers dog might say ok boys beat these guys by slightly less than you would have done if they had supported the rule changes.
Good point TN.

No shit hey...well then you might finally get that win you've been chasing

It could happen, we did it about 5 years ago. Not many others have done it since.

I remember that one STT, Perth outsmarted us when they came out after halftime with life jackets on. Called in the Westpac sea rescue 'copter to rescue 3 of our players and an umpire from the deep end.
