Slowly getting our best line-up together but losing Waters not good. Hopefully back next week. Can afford to be conservative with Clangers hammy and not sure what is happening with Halligan.

Wheeler and Halligan should be back next week just precautionary this week with Claremont Oval being a mud heap with very little grass cover. Not sure about what's up with Waters and have heard on the grape vine that Hancock has lost interest in the game and retired.

That's a shame if Scotty has retired BB. I notice on the clubs website he's listed as injured with a return date of TBC...which suggests to me he's gone....bugger...I liked the way he went about his footy and was very hard at it and no nonsense type of player.

If the ground is a mud heap I would give the Tigers a chance of causing a massive upset here

Looks like Rhys Waters is out for" general soreness" which means he is resting up this week and Daniel Leach will make his long awaited and deserved debut after being an emergency many times this year. congrats to Daniel !

Agree Jim...good luck Daniel...another very good mid who reminds me of Bogensperger a bit as he gets lots of the ball. Let's hope he has an impact.

A cracking game of footy. Claremont probably should have won given more scoring shots and inside 50s but as good sides do, we seemed to find a way. We were poor in first half where turnovers caused by skill errors and shit house decision making really hurt. Second half was much better and I could sense in the last our superior fitness would get us over the line which is how it panned out. Phelan was terrific, Zac Clarke worked into it, our forwards were well held until Borchet was swung into the front half and had an impact. All in all a very tough, hard game of footy and congrats must go to the Tigers who were very good. I hope they make the finals as they'll cause some damage that's for sure. I also think having the bye last week was one reason for the slow start but much of it could be put down to Claremont's pressure. Daniel Leach had a good one too for his first game in seniors and should get another go next week.

Good to see Justin Joyce get it 33 times in the ressies and Cockie 32. Maybe one more hit out this week in the two's against the bogans then straight up to the seniors for one or both of them I'd say.
