Back to saturday arvo footy, always enjoy a game at freo even with a small crowd there's plenty of atmosphere.

Crunch time for both clubs, Souths are blooding plenty of youth so expect them to take time to find their feet, Subi less so as we have a number of experienced players but many in poor form. Our biggest worry is the forward line which has been missing in action so far apart from sections of the game against the feral cheats. Need some structure which we had when Sinclair was available and some players who will have a real dip. Herring has produced nothing in 4 games so time to drop him and see whats in the 2's & colts. Mids are getting the ball plenty of times but disposal has been abysmal and another factor that makes life hard for an underperforming forward line.

Leave Clanger at CHF, he works hard where ever he plays and will always present, Rotate big Seva and Madut through the ruck and forward pocket so we have a big marking target close to goal with Buddy, Phillips, DeLuca & Wortho moving through the area to give lots of options. You only need to look at the 3 best teams in the comp who we have played so far, in WP, EF & CL to see how hard their forwards work, constantly moving, providing plenty of options for the mids. Time to look at using Joey Daye in a more attacking role, many of us have said he would do well on a wing, has height, great pace and is good overhead so would be a hard matchup, either that or if Clanger stays in the ruch Daye could go to CHF.

Ben did Grover play in the ressies last saturday? if so how did he look, would need a couple of runs in the 2's before he's ready to step up. I know he's been a backman all his life but at his age he could be worth a try at FF given his experience and big body, still has some reasonable pace as well.

Anyway if we can get the points this week we are 2 & 3 with a bye then games against Peel away, Perth at home and Swans away, need to get to at least 4 & 4 after those games so we give ourselves a sniff, realistically Peel could be a win but the other 2 will be very tough.
