I calculated there was about 1000 watching league on the night (told Ben that while we contenplated having another beer)and I still believe that to be closer than the 500 as there would have been about 350 in the Subi bar and members stand - The members bar was pretty full watching the tv at the same time.

You work it out if around 300-400 left after the colts then that would be about 800-900 in league watching ???

The crowd from the colts match which the tigers played very well would have mostly left after the game. From what I am led to believe some clubs push the attendance figures lower but there is no benefit to the clubs in pushing them higher than they realy are so I would take that figure as being acurate and I didn't know they can add on 200 extra for the ressies not playing?

1200 odd between the colts and league I would think is around the mark.

What ever the figure its a crap crowd and most of them were last week - The Perth game apparently had a junior day so if they weren't in attendance then they may have only had 1700 plus ???

A mate of mine who's son was playing for Claremont on Friday night reckons the 500 crowd figure was being extremely generous as well ...maybe our crowd figures arent bumped up like other teams do SS!! ;)

I would like to know his esimate of what crowd is in the main grandstand then ?

I would have thought there would have been close to 500 between the main stand and the EP stand although I didn't count (surely would have been 50+ tiger supporters in the EP stand?)

Did anyone estimating the crowd go in the Subi members bar ??? or see that the subi members stand was virtually full ???

I would say a crowd of 500 people may be close to the mark for the stands that are visible from the main grandstand.

I'll say it again why would it be beneficial to over count a crowd ? Under count is beneficial to the home team but when the home club has to give a % of the attendance back to the WAFL (i think it still works that way?) It just doesn't make sense ???

Anyway the crowds are shit let's get more to the footy !!!
