BH goodo -- Ken was one of only three players to appear in 100 games for Subi in the years around 1976-1980 -- the others being Neil Taylor and Phil Lamb. I think the next best would have been Graeme Schultz.

Most games for Subiaco 1976 to 1980
Ken Bell 97
Fred Davenport 80
Phil Lamb 77

If you extend to include 1975-1981
Neil Taylor 101
Ken Bell 97
Phil Lamb 96
Fred Davenport 90

Ken Bell's player page waflfootyfacts.net/player/stats.php?PlayerID=409

I have actually got just one "Kenneth John Bell" in my records and have always wondered if they were the same player - are they?

I am not 100% sure - reading a westside football from 1989 it mentions swans recruiting Ken Bell who played 8 games for Perth in 1984 & 1985 as a recruit from Kalamunda. Also my football registers for those years don't link the two together

I'm checking with the official WAFL historians who will be able to advise me either way.

Two different players fellas,
Ken Bell from Subiaco was a midfielder from the country whilst Ken Bell from Swans & Perth was a big lumbering ruckman from Kenwick-Kalamunda.

Brillant Ric. Can you check you 'Honour Board' , you know I love your Honour Boards, for Subi in the year 1980? Under the heading 'coach', it should read 'Peter Burton' -- he coached the first two games -- and 'Ken Armstrong'
chhers, AR.
