42 where did SS say Subi were the underdogs?....unlike you to put words into other peoples keyboards mate.....

Not too sure which is more enticing.....6 weeks cruising the South America's.....or a day out in Bassendean?......knowing BC and his strong views on anything to do do with drugs....I say choosing the first option was a no brainer for the fella.. ;)

In my tipping I said a draw ,then said Subi by a few points. All along I've said on paper and on form there's nothing between these two in form teams.

Great start to the day with the colts boys beating Swans stellar colts team who are equal top on points. Seems our youth development plans headed up by Lockyer is bearing fruit way before everyone expected. Colts powerhouses Claremont last game, Swans this week, colts teams we have not managed to get near for sometime gives the boy great belief.

WAFL app has Braut Garcia, Perkins & Borchet playing in the ressies so a couple of others must be coming in, maybe they have gone with Matera who's not listed in the 2's. Great to see Guiness back playing in the 2's.

Good win by your kids SS....wanted it more, outworked us and deserved the win...our boys had a stinker but with 7 odd out for PSA let's hope the 16yo kids got some good game time & benefit today.

Well done to Subiaco. From the first bounce to the final bounce you controlled the match.Lucky for Swans your kicking for goal was average.
Better conditioned for the warm may day.Ran harder .kick the ball better and allways won the clearances. With players working harder to get to the contest.
And that no7.Built like the side of a truck.

Probably our most complete 4 qtr effort so far this season. We gave them no space to create or break away and use their pace advantage with some pretty intense tackling. While we were smashed again in the hit outs 63 to 20, Dela was roving to Nuich & Gault a lot of the time which helped our mids to dominate the clearance for most of the game. Kitch in his 50th WAFL game was BOG with 32 disposals 6 tackles and a goal, his work ethic was phenominal, that along with Phez 28 and Horse with 24 surgical disposals left the gallant swannies in their wake, great to see Adam Cockie back with 17 disposals, 7 brutal tackles and shared goal of the match honors with their long bombs from way out on the boundary. Cock will be invaluable going forward especially next week against flag favorites Souths.

Sytevo was back to his best form since doing his knee with 5 snags, his attack on the ball and aggressive leading was great to see. young baker had a terrific game with 3 very clever goals plus creating a couple more, a very smart player with nice skills and a quick footy brain, he made up for Ryans quiet game. Swans obviously spent a lot of time looking into how they would deal with Ryan but deal with him they did with an overtly physical approach. Ryan has to learn to deal with that but the incident that sent him from the ground for a qtr was not great to see where he was "chicken winged" and injured his shoulder. he ended up with 11 disposals 5 marks and 1.2 but his kicking was astray with a couple of out of bounds, so given some more accurate kicking he could have had a solid game with 3 or 4 goals. Anyway good to see we don't just rely on his efforts up forward.

Swans had a bad day or were not allowed to have a good one by a disciplined and ferocious Subi team but at 5 & 2 they should be pretty pleased with their start after last seasons effort, they are clearly the comps most improved team.

As patronising as your comments were when you scoffed at my comments about Swans being underdogs yesterday; the result vindicated my comments. I expect Subiaco to finish 4 to 5 games ahead of the second team at the end of the qualifying rounds. This far out we can permanent ink another GF spot for Subiaco.
