Shit I didn't see him take to many speckies !!!
And to think the two guy's either side of him had stints at Subi.
Subi had a few old timers come over to them for a while - My fav's Valli and twinkle toes - Barry not so Quick !!! Good days - but lucky for us they got better.
Those guy's all played their part in the early 80's in turning Subi around.

Haha Big Barrie Quick I think he also played at SF & EP as well ..now is a big wig in the radio industry i hear.

Yep your on the money - He had a big chest and big heart Barry.
Subi stuggled for a Ruckman in the early 80's and then later came Mick Johns,Court,Keene and Scott followed by Spider. Shit talk about famine then feast.

Mick Johns was a very good pick up for Swans from Subi in 83 ..he tried his heart out every week & played in our 84 premiership side & very unlucky to miss out in 83

Yep I rated him - Wasn't overly tall but new how to find it.
Had a good mullet early on in his career - I think that helped keep his balance???

didnt think they were related but could be wrong...jeez seeing Keith Watt again brought back some memories. one of the most talented players to ever pull on the maroon and gold imo but just wasnt dedicated enough to become a true star of the game...
