see Kyal Horsley has been delisted by GC......perhaps Trent Dennis-Lane from St Kilda....and maybe White from Carlton....three WAFL quality players who could lift Subi's fortunes for 2014......besides Sheed who else might Subi lose in the draft? Wood and Hampson perhaps?

If he doesn't get taken by another AFL club he will be a huge in for us.

Bring in 1 point recruits like Horsley, Dennis-Lane, White and maybe Cockie and our fortunes would change overnight.

Maybe he's talking about Freddie Clutterbuck???????

In regards to White he still has 3-4 weeks left in a brace. Even ifhe stays on Carlton's list it would be interesting to see when he plays football again.

Dennis-Lane and Horsley would be great ins for the Lions. A proven midfielder and a 50 goal a year medium forward.

La Hincha not exactly on topic but prompted by this topic. At some time if you have the time and inclination would you be able to provide for us all what the implication of the host club alignment in 2014 means with respect to points allocation, salary cap provisions and any restrictions that have been placed on the two aligned clubs and any compensation to the other WAFL clubs from the alignment and losing players. Thanks in anticipation.

Yes good point swan id like to see that also.
I hear wc are looking to trade Sinclair back to a melbourne side which is great news, means he wont play for the ferals! Wc have their sights on Sheed with their first pick, not such good news.

Sheed will be a smoke screen for them getting someone else - the AuFL clubs don't go around telling other clubs and the media who they want to pick up first - except for some who do little deals between themselves before the draft and even then some of the clubs change their minds at the last minute ???

Sadly I don't think they (WAFC) know themselves yet.

The last I heard was.

1-No recruiting allowed from outside the allocated zone/district. (Apart from those already there like Paul Johnson at EP for example)

2-Therefore no points cap but their list of non AFL listed players will be reduced to a as yet unknown number. (30, 35 and 40 have been mentioned as possibilities)

3-A further list of 5, 10 or 15 players to be classed as reserves/supplementary who could not play league had been mooted.

That's all I know so far.

If that is the case LH as I read it EP & Peel will have the same salary cap/points cap as the real 7 WAFL clubs but less players (non AFL listed) to share the same $$$$!!
This has to be knocked on the head immediately!
