Terrific kid from Carine footy club plays in defence as tall defender. Great competitor with good skills. Got a younger brother Campbell 16yr old in the colts with similar attributes. Can’t believe his rise after one reserves game but guess there’s opportunities for tall defenders at the moment. Good luck to him. He’ll get a chance soon enough and so will Campbell I’m sure

Here's our injury report. Hopefully start getting a few back in a couple of weeks and Lockyer for the finals if we make it....also no mention of Aaron Heal with a groin injury or Max Walters.

I saw a loss on the radar but not this size. Souths were way too good and we had way too many missing from the selected side and you can throw Horsely into the mix with a calf. Souths quite rightly flag favourites as they have a good blend of talls, smalls, backs, forwards and mids. As an undermanned group we battled hard but Souths too committed, too quick and too bloody good. Some bewildering decisions by the maggots but certainly not to the tune of 50 points. One thing that really shits me is that the umps continue to pay Schloithe ducking free kicks. The sooner they realise that if they stop paying them, he'll stop ducking as it's very dangerous and unfair. For us, Dela good in patches, KItch tried very hard, Gus Litherland battled manfully against much taller opposition and Sokol in patches. Andy Doyle showed a bit as did Matera and Ben Newton but all around a disappointing day with not a lot to look forward to until we start getting a few back.

I saw on the tv 2 rules Delahunty got a free kick against today, I hope he’s ok.
