Definitely Oooll, feasibly explains why Wiley stayed and EF said no to those past players helping out....EF may have been told, if Wiley goes before the year out, you guys will have to pay what is owed....who knows....just can't believe Wiley was allowed to stay on to finish the season, if help was in the pipeline.....talk about setting the club backwards even further.....

If this is true, then why were we, the paying members not told? They didn’t have to tell how many $ were involved, but if the WAFC and an AFL club were involved in their secret dealings, then as a paying member, I have the right to know who is fiddling with our club. If you want my dollars going forward, then start fessing up ffs!

I also have heard this, as Effc finances can no longer support paying a coach.

Don't go down that road 58!
I learnt early in the piece that being a member of a sporting organisation generally means stuff all.
Generally seems to be members are simply there to pay membership subscriptions when due, and help fundraise when needed. To answer your question, advising members of everything that is being forecasted or happening is not in the equation.
And that needs to change asap because without members/ supporters and fans, there wouldn't be a club!

Heard the same last year about WAFC/WCE paying Wiley's wages. Also was told Saturday that the club maybe in the same financial position as WP and the WAFC have been advised.

I guess time will tell astro…..though no great surprise I guess.....

.interesting to read EP poster Grump's assessment of the EF performance on the weekend....obviously his opinion, but the fella's comment are held in high regard here on Oz footy, so I can well believe he is close to the mark......

from those EF posters who went, which players stood out to be giving their all and which seemed to be standing on the periphery and are they the ones that will need to be culled or likely self cull themselves at the seasons end....the next two games are gonna be even uglier and more damning I reckon

Yep, WAFC have been emergency subsidising Effc football department for a couple of years now. So financial reporting has not been totally up front.

Freez and 58 I would stick with Loersch but understand he is Bob Johnson FF not a ground ball or even overly defensive, big turning circle.

A good coach will structure the forward line and forward game plan around that, a Lally for similar seagull would be in heaven playing to his crumbs.

FMD... it goes from bad to worse. The WAFL really is on life support with WP and EF technically insolvent from the sounds of it, the alignment models making a mockery of the competition, one club dominating over the last 15 years with another not playing finals for god knows how long whilst all the time under the stewardship of the WAFC....what little gem will get thrown up next I wonder?
