Looking forward to having a look at the new facilities on Saturday. After the loss last Sunday, Swans need the 4 points here because if they lose this game they may drop out of the top 5. We haven't got a great record over at Claremont in recent years, but at least Swans don't have to play at the showgrounds any more where we didn't win a match in the 3 years it was used.
Claremont have a very competitive midfield led by Bolton, so Swans will need better performances from Ellard who was very quiet last week,as well as Riggio, Blight and Turner. Faulkner was the only consistent performer last week but its going to have to be more of a team effort against the Tigers.
Lets hope the guys can start better this week, they looked very lethargic in the first half against West Perth and need to hit them hard in the early part of the game like they did against Perth.

Unfortunately with the Reserves having a shocker last week there were not many putting their hand up to take a spot in the League side.

Does anyone know the situation with Freddie Clutterbuck? He hasn't played either reserves or league since the bye and his last game was a 45 possession effort in the reserves against Peel. I assume he must have an injury?

I heard on 91.3 that Freddy had a work accident and severed a fair portion of his thumb, he is out for a lengthy period whilst it heals.

You blokes should win this comfortably, CL have lost to Perth and almost lost to EF with practically a reserves side.

I heard on 91.3 that Freddy had a work accident and severed a fair portion of his thumb, he is out for a lengthy period whilst it heals.

That's awful Leedy. First I've heard of it. I'm disappointed that Greg or the club didn't see fit to let the supporters know about this via the endless stream of coaches and club updates over the past few weeks, so that Swans fans could wish him well in his recovery. Freddie has contributed a great deal to Swans since he has been here and he will be missed. Hopefully he can have some sort of coaching role at the club during his recovery.

Blight an out for this week. Hopefully the injury is not bad. Crowley has had 6 weeks out now so can't be too far away. Tigers look good on paper.

I am pretty sure Freddy's injury was mentioned a couple of weeks back Mike!

Cheers BH must have missed it, I was away during the bye. Hope he can get back on the park before the end of the season.....

I don't normally post during a game but I'm just so frustrated with Swans performance at the moment. We are making Claremont look a million dollars with our total lack of intensity and effort. Disgraceful performance.
