The Irony, markets around the world are super charged, and this year has been huge for Australian Super holders getting up to around 20% for some funds including mine.

On the back of Trumps new deal with China and a strong US economy.

At the same time the Dems are busy with there doomed impeachment fiasco that will go all the way towards getting Trump another 4 years.

You need a self managed Super fund. However you need to be up to date on the stock market & be prepared to take wins & losses. I pay approx $5000 in fees but made too much last fin yr. Averaging over 20% for last 8 yrs. Have lots of WA mining companies + Wesfarmers..

3 years to go for a gold watch and am lucky to have enough in the kitty for a good retirement, that’s if I retire.

My balanced west state is doing 15.4%.

Wife’s conservative at 5.4%.

The big winner is throwing our salaries into super to give a tax saving of 22 cents in the $ plus further savings with the pre ’83 gold state.

Good luck to those who know the stock market and can pick the ups and downs but I’m a crap gambler.

Saw the lithium bubble coming but didn’t buy $10000 of Galaxy at 0.03c.

I was in the Rio Tinto fund, but when I left had to leave them. They had Equip Super take over and manage their employee’s super and it also allowed me to move over to them. Very happy with Equip.

Got into PLS (lithium) in 2015 @ 18c.. Sold some @ $1.05 & 85c. Into Oil (went 11c to 68c in 4mths) off Pt Hedland. Also into Uranium, Graphite, gold + a few Bio medicals plus banks who pay around 6% div & franking credits are handy.. Lots of research needed
