There was a reason why Menzies is reported to have votted for the DLP towards the end of his life.

I don't reckon its a even spread, Hanson only really does well in Queensland, its a less even spread across the board, 6% is pretty poor tbh, and it doesn't necessarily come from Nationals of Liberals a lot of working class Labor vote for her as well. Just as Trump draws the traditional democratic white blue collar workers.

Hansons days are numbered I reckon anyway , shes not getting any younger and the party is a basket case, once she retires that will be the end of it.

Mate it was over days ago, Lib scrutineers packed it in about 3 days ago.

Yes you're pushing the cart uphill there swan42. Phelps has already moved into the parlaiment office I believe. Even gave a speech attacking the federal government on some matter.. Phelps is going to be busy remaining on the council and being in parlaiment too. Apparently happy to juggle the 2.

Interesting to hear a former National Party leaderon Kenny on Sundays (Sky News) talk about decisions should be made based on evidence. This from a coalition that ignores the scientific evidence relating to climate change/global warming.

Yes that's why old abbot called for unity. Morrison has taken a huge hit in the approval ratings since the libs lost the Wentworth by-election, and then stood around trying to blame everything except the obvious. Approval has dropped so much that apparently he didn't attend the Victorian liberal party campaign launch either according to the news..
