Well your "zero pressure" was matched by the zero votes the Liberal Party received in Perth and Fremantle.

42 heard on the radio this morning. There was a debate on the radio in SA between Alexander Downer and the lady that is the member for Mayo.AD said he and his daughter where nation builders for Australia. The Mayo MP said my father worked in the Holden Factory for 41 years and was a car builder.And didn't drive a Masarati like you Alexander ..

Downer referred to "new arrivals" and the hypocrisy of a Minister of the Howard government complaining of "'Sharkie supporters have brought such horrible hate to our district.'"

swan 42: to be honest, if the ALP wins the next election, Freydenburg may have to face the High Court-- all they have to do is name him in parliment. If he is smart he will renounce his Hungarian citizenship, which he is entitlled to through his Mum.

Swan they didn't have the balls to run candidates in either of those seats.Too much pressure and if the swing against them was massive they would have had something to explain.
Did any one see the smile wipe off Malcolms face when that lady in Queensland challenged him over the penalty rates? He stuttered and stammered more than Mr Rabbit ever did.Then he fell back on his usual rhetoric about Bill Shorten.The lady should be awarded a Member of Australia medal for he gutsy actions.

I must have missed Bazza's explanation about why the Liberal Party didn't stand candidates.
