I have defended Joyce and the others caught up in this, but he should be made to resign.

Ark he's one of the more trustworthy, liked politicians around.But he's still broken the clear rules.Unlucky he had no idea.But neither did the two Greenies who have both walked.If Barneby does not go the other 3 have to be reinstated. The same rule must apply to all involved.

gtr: I agree with every word you wrote, but it appears the governemnt is going is 'batting-on', irrespective of sound advice, or at least until the High Court rules on the matter. His Lordship Malcolm has always had bad political judgment and this is no exception. I think it will cost him a few votes if he has to go to a bye-election in the future.
