In the Footy Off season I follow the WA Baseball mainly the State League.
The team I follow is the Melville Braves based at Winnacott Reserve, Willagee.
Nothing better on a hot summers day than to go to a game and have a few Beers. All of the clubs have excellant catering facilities.
Most suburbs have a side with the inclusion of Carine and Rockingham it is getting even better.
The State League comes under Baseball WA as does the Perth Heat who have a excellant venue in Gosnells at Baseball Park.
I attend the State league games and the occasional Perth Heat game (state side)
The Braves got off to a good start when they had their Heat players but unfortunately once the Heat season begins those players can no longer play at State level. The Braves have a large contingent in the Heat lineup so we suffer the most. Needless to say We are still very competative. The top side is still in it with a long way to go and our AAA(reserves) are on top of the ladder.
The Melville Braves have home games on 18 Nov and 25 November so if you want to drop down to Winnacott and say hello feel welcome.
Here is the latest ladder I could get with a list of the sides
