There are still a few old slum blocks of flats in Mosman Park would they be public housing? Probably built in the 50's when Mosman Park was an industrial area. Along Wellington St.

Yeah back when they thought sticking people in high rise flats was a great idea, then all the social problems came with it and most places demolished them, wasnt there some shit heap in Bentley that got the wrecking ball.
Isn’t that better than the blight on modern society living on the streets? Everyone needs a roof over their heads and a bathroom, kitchen and a comfortable place to sleep and feel safe? It’s called home. That block of flats in Bentley I think was built in the 80’s to accommodate refo’s when they first arrive. Should  never have knocked it down. Renovate not the wrecking ball. I’m guessing you have never experienced hardship and the anxiety that comes with not knowing how you are going to pay the rent and still afford to eat. I’ve been there and it wasn’t easy to have what I have now but I’m very proud of what I have and really have empathy for those doing it tough to be able to afford rent and a large mortgage.

They should chop up Lathlain Park, wack in some Vic Park style multi level flats, and fill the place up, the area would suit it and it would be a hell of a lot more productive than what's been produced at the joint since 1977.

Silly me thinking you would be capable of replying with a more mature and intelligent response. The government should be trying to find a way to maximise the most under-utilised railway line in Perth which was shut down in the past due to lack of patronage. Why should high density housing be exclusive to eastern, southern and northern suburbs? Why not the western burbs? Hopefully this government is undertaking a plan to increase density in your neighbourhood champ. Better upgrade the immobiliser in your Hyundai Elantra.
Get on your bike.
