Yep Devonleigh lean is key unfortunately, for everything, especially when getting older. I've been working hard to get to my ideal bmi, it fkn sucks balls I can tell you that. I'm almost there and approaching 10% body fat at 56yo. I never had alot on me but you would be surprised how much different your bloods can look by even only losing just 1 kg

Steady on there Daz you are putting us all to shame. You need to visit to your local lunch bar a get a few dim sims into you. 😃

My experience - health scare. Stopped eating red meat & fried food. Started walking. Lost 20kg, BP came down to what it was when I was 30. Bloods all dropped so no need for meds.
problem - maintaining it
have put some of that weight back on after a bit of a life change and stuff.
I know I can do it, I like beer too much

Just heard that a third wave is going to hit Perth in 4-6 weeks time. Mask wearing is back on the cards.
These are the new Variants BA4 & BA5. The 4th booster shot that the Health Dept recommends does not cover these strains so what's the point. This Covid is not going to go away anytime soon.

What is of concern being the growth factor is not dropping. The past 3 weeks has seen an average reading of well over1.00
Currently in the coldest time of the year is not helping either.
I just wish people would keep wearing masks as many have became complacent which I think is sad. Hopefully more people start wearing a mask, sanitising and being careful, especially when difficult to socially distance. It doesn't take much to slip on a mask. Many people wear them in my locale.

This new Covid wave is really taking hold, but the Emperor, who resolutely followed the advice of his health officials in the past has decided not to do so, regarding masks when in public. The bride and I are currently in Covid iso, I'm day 7 and she's day 3, haven't been too bad, more a bad cold/flu, sore throat and tiredness, not great but I believe the 4 vaxes have significantly lessened it's severity. The normal flu is doing almost as much damage as it's really severe after being almost non existent for 2 + years. Several friends and family are crook as dogs but -ve for Covid. 

Just got back from a couple of weeks in Thailand (Bangkok and Samui), fa foreigners when we got there but they started to build rapidly. Most Thai's were wearing masks but not many of the foreigners were. The Thai's told me they are up to their 6th jab! On another note there is now weed shops everywhere, they recently made it legal to boost the economy which covid fucked, strange to think that you could hang for having it not so long ago

What was the quality of the weed like mate? How did the overall experience of the Thai weed shop compare to say that of the  coffeeshops of the Nederlands?
