That's good Baz but what's the plan when the new doomsday South African C 1.2 variant hits? The one that is twice as infectious as delta and no vaccine touches it

theres aways a new variant, doomsday scenario that people like Mcghoo love to scare people with, I'm over it, anyway the Doc reckons the cross vaccination method pretty much covers the variants.
New variants are a given and vaccines will evolve with it. Why are we are only talking about 70 - 80% vaccination rates? We should be targeting as close to 100% as possible. I guarantee there are those out there who are thinking well yes I hope 80% of you get vaccinated, I’ll be one of the 20% who don’t.

Astrazeneca top of the class again in the wake of Omicron. Australian government got sucked in by the media and panic stricken health chief's.

The Poms are experiencing a much lower death rate than the rest of Europe and it's being put down to AZ and they are saying this vaccine could last for life.

I'm done with two AZ and a Pfizer booster which is recommended.

i'm no immunologist or epidemiologist, but it was always my preferred option to have an AZ booster instead of the Pfizer, but i guess it will hopefully give me adequate enough protection.and not alter my DNA which has been warned by my mate, who happens to be by trade,a qualified Sparky.

Read my second post on page one RL. Dr Ross Walker said if you’ve had two AZ you don’t go get a third, you get a Pfizer booster which will give you close to 100% protection. Probably the same result for a Moderna booster.

I was offered a Moderna booster, but they said it wasn’t ratified by our govt.

It's a real pity the media feed into this anti AZ hysteria, Oxford uni came up with a great vaccine that was also out of the control and profit margins of the big pharma companies, I have no doubt at all that they influenced the media and anti AZ campaign that meant everyone bought their vaccines at a huge profit.

The Australian Government were always on the right track when it got in early and ordered a heap of AZ, then the media and labor halfwits ripped into it leaving it looking wrongly like a bad choice.

I've had my 2 x AZ and my booster will be Pfizer. the cross pollinated vax gives as good as you can get up to 100%.

I have had the AZ vaccination, would I have preferred the Pfizer one yes but that comes down to my disliking and distrusting most thing english.

I do think that morrison did do an eggs in the one basket early on basket but did open up to others.

Has the jab worked who knows, is it effective - well according to most reputable publications (and no news corp or the worst do not qualify) all of the ones available are effective in varying degrees with differing longevity periods.

Is there an effective booster strategy, it seems that the best thing is to have a combination as they seem to have an interactive reaction again from whatever source you want to read and believe.

Is one better that the other well like most things it depends on which publications your want to read, does it really matter well I do not think so as they all seem to have the right stuff happening BUT we in WA will only really know when the borders open and that has to be sooner than later!

2 x AZ shots for me and a Pfizer booster today.  Seems as though I’m as protected as well as I can be.  Suppose I’ll have to get another booster in 3-6 months time.
