Have you not seen the reactions by our PM and Treasurer in relation to the WHO stance on the wet markets in China? Josh Frydenberg nearly had kittens.

Just for a change we decided to switch over from ABC news 24 to CBS news and what we saw made our jaws drop. The USA is in a complete state of chaos about how to deal with the virus, the comment repeated over and over was "Lack of leadership". They are currently rudderless, there is little or no cohesion in dealing with this and their already fractured health system is on the verge of collapse, if you have money you've got a far better chance of surviving as you can get into the 5star hospitals whereas the poor are stuck with understaffed, under equipped hospitals, thats if they can even get a place to be admitted.

The Governor responsible for NYC is pleading for help to get mass testing and tracking in place which is what the health experts who's jobs are not being threatened by the orange numpty for speaking out are saying. Very sad to see the ordinary American punter looking totally helpless in the face of a self centred bungling federal administration.

There are already signs of push back with protests in some states starting to appear, the early signs of anarchy? So how does anarchy start? The lack of a clearly defined, strong and consistent leadership that gives the population the skills, confidence and werewithall to deal with a crisis.

But the self proclaimed very stable genius needs always to find someone else to blame - Mexico, China and now as tens of millions file for unemployment benefits and tens of thousands die it is the organisation at the forefront of responding to the pandemic.

At day's end we can blame whomever we like but that fact remains that all countries had the same information at the same time and the infection rate per million of population is far worse in Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Ireland and France than the USA which suggests to me that Trump's response was certainly not the worst going around. Don't get me wrong...I think the guy is a buffoon but I'm not sure he deserves all the criticism he's getting without pointing the finger at other first world leaders as well. Spain has double the cases per 1 million of population than the US and 4 times the deaths.

Whilst some stats might suggest a worse response, it does not necessarily make it so - i think quite a few factors need to be weighed up - including buffoonery.
