What have the Trump knockers got to say about that one?

I don't need to knock the strumpet he stuffs up all by him self, the answer to his tweet or twit (which seems more appropriate) is that lots of nations took the WHO advice and made up their own minds about what was necessary and there in lies the rub he cannot make up his own mind he has to rely on his minders and marketers for his decisions. Then when he and his cohort are found to be in the rubbish he lashes out, just like most bullies!

While he was belittling the scale of the threat which he compared falsely to the dangers of seasonal flu scientists, epidemiologists and health emergency experts in the US and around the world were warning that the virus had the potential to devastate the US and needed to be dealt with quickly. The New York Times has also revealed a White House memo was circulated on 29 January stating that coronavirus had the potential to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Spot on Grump. From the start of his presidency he has been quick to deflect blame for any problems to any scapegoat that is convenient. The bottom line is that he is the Commander in chief of the USA and the buck stops with him. Its really like there is a 4 year old in charge at the White House. But those who follow him like he is some orange leader of a religious cult ( now where have I heard that before ) will continue to believe all the crap that comes out of his mouth.

Its not just Trunp,

WHO have an across the board policy on not closing borders.

The way they see it is that it would clash with the UN Rights on a Sick Refugee to seek safety in another country.

Its generally ignored by everyone including us. Which I think is wise.

His orangeness has attempted to take credit for closing down the borders to China and Europe. Restrictions on travel from China were not totally closed down, as has repeatedly been claimed. Trump has also trumpeted his decision to restrict travel from Europe to the US, but the initial order included only 26 countries that are part of the Schengen Area. He later added Ireland the UK but the restrictions still excluded a number of European countries.

Not sure what your nom de plume stands for but I could hazard a guess, I don't knock trumpet per se I knock stupidity in all of its guises, he just happens to be the biggest and best at it in the world today, he followed by the chinese premier chow mein with the lancashire nut pot a close third.

For all his stumblins S Marketing, Ardent and Sneakers leave for dead, not there is wishful thinking.

It's not beyond Trump and his yes men to have deliberatly not reporting the real numbers to try and reduce the damage done by his initial inaction, as is the strong suspicion around China's figures.
