Dont know what the story is but the last couple of years we have had great success here with Chelsea Man U and Leeds, but this year Perth gets no EPL clubs at all..

West Ham and Crystal Palace will only visit Brisbane, very disappointing, would of been great if we could of had them at the stadium and the EPL visit became a annual event here. Looks like the sports minister has dropped the ball here and Perth misses out.

With all due respect to West Ham and Crystal Palace they are hardly great teams/clubs.
Certainly not in the same League as either Manchester United or Chelsea who were here previously.
It just would not be worth that huge investment in bringing over these 2 perennial strugglers when they just dont have that mass marketing appeal especially in the foreign tourists they are targeting to travel to Perth to watch.
