Our cleaner at work went looking for date roll today in the Malaga area, no luck. My daughter went looking in Midland Gate, no luck. As one of the doctors said yesterday, people will go to their cupboards in a week or so and ask themselves why have they got 90 rolls of toilet paper?

Yep...the supermarkets mostly operate using just in time supply chains to reduce inventory costs and have been caught out a little bit by this idiotic panic buying but you'd think it would all return to normal in a week or so as there's nothing wrong with supply and as you say, people will be stuck with rolls and rolls of dunny paper.

Ok here is the recipe for hand sanitiser, Take a good quality of vodka, has to be better than 60%, good stuff, poor a glass add ice and lime consume at your leisure, take rest of bottle poor a good measure into a mixing bowl, add some glycerine and baby oil, mix thoroughly add more of each to get the right consistency, flavour with whatever smell you want (for those of you who want smell good. Finish bottle of vodka at your own pace!

I did read in one of the online papers yesterday that they are telling people to not use industrial strength bleach as a form of hand sanitization????

Over 2500 people die in WA from the flu or flu like symptoms each year and we don't panic like this one person dies in WA from a corona virus and its like we are expecting zombies from the walking dead to descend on all of us

I don't think it's wise to make light of this virus and comparing it to the flu is silly. We can consider ourselves lucky to date and that is partly due to our isolation and also due to our strict measures which might seem drastic but in this case it is better to be over cautious than complacent. However filling a trolley with dunny rolls is just ridiculous. Idiots.

Our social separation is important too as you'd imagine it would be easier to get infected in densely populated places than here.

Yeah BC, I reckon Apartment living and crowded spaces make it worse.

The dunny roll frenzy of 2020 has to be Australia's most embarrassing moment. Unleashing Fosters on the world was close but this tops it.

I read somewhere today that in order to accurately calculate your IQ you should count up the number of toilet rolls in your house right now and subtract that number from 150!

Just wait till the annual flu season hysterics kick in....gonna be fun for those health professionals working at the coal face this winter in A&E and GP clinics....no doubt the Govt will have all these grand ideas of what should happen, but will refrain from the obvious in increasing staff levels and decreasing staff workloads....because if the staff go down, that's when everyone will need their toilet rolls....literally!
