I hope we're circling Carlisle from the bummers...it seems everyone else is.

Yeah well Chris Scott reckons he's worth 5 years at 500 grand a year, and I wouldn't take anything out of that performance against Bontempelli I would say Frawley would of been going through the motions.

Agree, tho rekon anythinh more than $500,000 is payin overs

Waite would not command top dollar given his age and being injury prone. I wouldn't offer him anymore than $250 - $300k. The motivation for him should be playing in a premiership. He ain't going to be doing that at Carlton. The problem is these sort of players usually get paid overs on the open market. North are reported to be interested.

I think Frawley is a good player but does have his flaws as pointed out by Gary Lyon. I do not think he is worth any more than $400K a year.

I would much prefer that we go after Jake Carlisle. Has shown what a good player he can be at either end of the ground. With Taberner and Apeness being groomed as forwards this would allow Carlisle to play down back.

No conflict of interest there with G Lyon - grain of salt comes to mind.

Yes I think Carlisle is better value, if he is available.

I reckon Carlisle would command $700k a year plus. What about Paddy Ryder? I rate him highly. Ideal replacement for Sandi, would probably squeeze Clarke out of the side or one of them can play forward.

I'd pay $700k for Carlisle if I were Freo and put him on a long term contract. He's young, obviously talented, KPP both back and forward..a perfect replacement for Pav and/or McPharlin.

Carlisle would cost us our first round draft pick at a minimum but I agree, well worth it.
