They let Jason Webber go which I thought was overdue because Fremantle have suffered from long injury lists for a long time but right now it's as bad as it's ever been. So they've got a new strength and conditioning coach so the question has to be asked is Cockburn too hard?

Our ground and Lathlain was completely dug up and reconfigured and relaid and in the first year it was like a bowling green, looked great and great for the bounce of the ball but it was very firm. But now a few years on Lathlain is lush and has a fair bit of cushioning in it. I think they need to get an outside expert opinion on their training surface and their strength and conditioning program. The injury list is shocking and now young Liam Henry has a calf injury.

Jason Webber must be sitting back with a smirk on his face right now.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

I don't reckon DD ٫ in the case of Pearce it was another completely innocous game day incident that led to another long term injury٫his body is unfortunately just not up to it. Most of the other injuries are game day occurences٫ they've had the Cockburn surface tested a number of times and its been fine apparently
Liam Henry is still a yet to mature kid so hardly surprising to see him have a setback

Every team cops these sorts of injury runs, I remember back in the late 90's WC were decimated by injuries to their top players and we saw last year in the WAFL how injuries to 8 or 9 key players saw Subi sink to the bottom half of the table. Swings and roundabouts but Freo have certainly copped more than their fair share, bright side is that it will see Peelmantle having to field a real WAFL team for a good part of the early WAFL season, great opportunity for the local lads.

Freo did what they had to do against the cellar dwellers, Fyfe was a beast at the contests but cant buy a goal, their group of young mids, Sarong Brayshaw etc get better with each game, love young Schultz, well not so young at 23/24, hard at it nuggety type who knows where the goals are. And then there's David Mundy, what a player at 35, 36 later this year he's like a good red, gets better with age and at last getting some long overdue recognition from the east, his contested work is superb and his disposal is amongst the best in the comp, forwards would love to see him with the footy in hand heading forward. So durable, he was a Subi premiership player in 2004 playing at CHB. If he continues in this vane he would be more than a smokey for the medal.
