I have no great love for either AFL teams but Fremantle just don't have a forward they can rely on, the young fella recruited last year my be good but Taverner is just not upto it on a consistent basis within games or between games, Brennan Cox is just ........ and Sean Darcy Should be traded although I am not sure anyone but Peel would take him, McCarthy is just not upto it and Hogan is an issue,

Ryan and a lot of the backline are good, short but good!

Dumb football is trying to over possess the football in wet weather with silly little nothing handballs that eventually someone fumbles instead of driving the ball forward at every opportunity as it becomes a territory game.
Watching modern day players playing in the wet is seriously comical like they have no idea or have not been coached to just get it forward at all cost!

So DD - what was the AFL scoreline ???

Did the WAFL one you were commenting on exceed it ??

Appears Fremantle haven't sourced a replacement for Sandilands.. Add no Fyfe & they have huge problems.

Fremantle’s No 1 target in next years draft has to be key forward local lad Logan McDonald. They can piss a few of the current tried and failed off to bolster their draft stocks and make a play for Tim English.

I agree DD, I think English should be a major target for Freo and said a year or two ago when Cerra was looking for a new contract they shoulda looked into a trade deal with the Dogs on those two. What players/draft picks would you be prepared for Fremantle to give up to get English? I’m not convinced Brayshaw and Cerra are the future stars they were hoped to become (time will tell) and one of those could be genuine trade bait with Victorian teams.

The problem with you Tuggster is you go searching for reasons to hate Fremantle. How do you think we would have gone with Fyfe, Hill, Hogan, Hamling, Pearce and Logue last night? Even with Selwood and Ablett available for Geelong?

Agree with you TOO re: Brayshaw and Cerra. Never been convinced by those two though they are showing signs of improvement. Heard Haselby interviewing new Rising Star Caleb Serong tonight gee we need to hold onto this kid, future captain material.

But Haselby made the comment after the interview that Longmuir is prepared to play young players in their natural positions whereas Lyon would play players like Brayshaw and Cerra who were recruited as mids, in positions like wing, half back or half forward .

TBH TOO I’m thinking McCarthy, Taberner, Cox and even Hogan. Hogan is the obvious talent but comes with too much baggage but if we could get McDonald I think he and a Hogan together could be a very good combination.

Our midfield has taken a huge hit in the last two years losing Neale, B. Hill and Langdon and I would expect Mundy will probably call time at the end of this year. We probably can’t afford to trade out Cerra and or Brayshaw unless the trade is too good to refuse. If we can get Tim English or Luke Jackson then we can offer Sean Darcy up as a trade.

Connor Blakely will probably seek a trade at the end of the year, he wanted out at the end of last year. Wants to join his surfing buddy Weller on the Gold Coast. Fuck him off if he doesn’t want to be here. If he thinks he can get a game in the GC midfield he’s dreaming.

I don't go searching, the only player u listed who would have an impact is fyfe, yet he spends most seasons injured these days. The rest were examples of 2nd stringers we spoke about earlier
