Fremantle need to stop drafting in players from other teams, it doesn't work for them, they need to develop players.

Oh thats an easy one... for starters lets take the colours pink, purple & mauve off the table.

Dockers isn't a bad name, I don't see too many men down on the docks dressed in pink & purple tho.

Could have called them the giants and gone with white, orange & black?

The dockers original jumper was a very clever design with red and green giving it a nautical theme by denoting port and starboard and also the primary colours of the Italian flag which connected with the locals in Freo.
I'm not sure what influenced the current jumper but it's shame they didn't modernise the original design but in saying that, I still think the livery as it is today is pretty inoffensive.

Lol didn’t think you would come back with anything of substance. Where is pink and mauve? Maybe there’s a pink chevron on the girls jumper, so what? If they need to look like modern day wharfies maybe our colour should be high vis orange and green?

A jumper that looked really good BC was one they came up with in a heritage round several years ago. It was the current white away strip but with red chevrons.

I also thought they could have gone with red, white and blue resembling the traditional colours of the East and South Fremantle. I think red, blue and white thin vertical stripes would look good. I think I’ve seen that somewhere is it Central Districts in the SANFL?

BC-Pretty sure Harvey only had 2 years after Connelly left.He had built a good squad and deserved another couple of years.

Gtr...Harvey had 5 seasons and only had a 40% winning ratio but he was developing the list to the point where the Freo board thought a "finishing" coach rather than a developing coach was required to get a flag. Enter Ross Lyon after taking StK to a GF.

Not as head coach BC but was probably there 5 years all up. Think he took over before the end of 2008 for maybe the last 5 games or so then was appointed for 3 years for 09, 10 and 11 but got the flick at the end of 2010.

On a side note, the CEO who along with Steve Harris replaced Harvey with Lyon is now CEO of the Victorian Racing Club. Ross Lyon might get invited to a few nice lunches and maybe as guest speaker. I wonder if Rosich will end up being head hunted by an AFL club over there?

In the EPL there are rules on what strips can be changed and how often, this was brought in to stop the constant issue with kids wanting the latest ones.

DD wasn't it an issue with the name at inception, Dockers is a brand name of Yakka clothing and they were rightly pissed at the attempt to use it, I recall it cost a bit of coinage to resolve it, I saw a store in Sweden - The Dockers shop
