A few of the usual fines... and all finalized except for Nelly who will face the tribunal tonight. All the best to him as must be high up on the Sandover count as well,.

Still No word on the WAFL page re Nelly? Have they forgotten to update it or is it still going on? Will give the club a ring later if no result given

Thanks mate appreciate it.. I was mainly concerned about him being outed for a couple of weeks something we dont need. Still not updated on WAFL site but the will get around to it.

Bit harsh, most fines this year have been around the $50.00 mark.

Be interesting to know how they arrive at these dollar figures when they choose to fine and not suspend. Does it depend on the player's match payment and not the offence itself?

Interesting question DW on why a find and not a suspension. they obviously have fines for a Striking offence but rarely seen. Dont know if I have seen it at AFL level either as can be shown by Silvagni offence last week.

Those 20 and 50 dollar fines are usually Melee fines I have found.
Seems to be a bit of a colts and Ressies thing if you go back through the fines.

League is usually a suspension depending on the grade or whatever they call it of the offence. Havent really seen fine at League level but this time there is?
Good for us though. depending on Nellys ankle of course that gave him some trouble in this game... Might hold him out for a week anyway but that is not indicated on the Injuries list on the SF V WP thread.
