Another disappointing day for Demons supporters.

From a Falcons perspective it would be pleasing to see Michael Lourey getting better each week.

Cardy – even talking to yourself can be considered as a method of therapy – getting out the rant or the opinions or the observations. All good when you look at it that way
Yes its nice to have a bit more banter from friendly fire rather than a barrage of invective's or opponent comment but even that can be funny at times and worthy of the exercise
With the effort you put to your posts it is obvious you enjoy it so I say ‘continue’ on even if you’re in a room on your own shouting to deaf people hahahaha

A great way to bust the NO WIN Milestone monkey we’ve had on our back –
and well done to both boys!! Especially Stijk for his commendable and brave service to the club, and another stand out game
Great to see Lourey really hitting his straps – wow a 6 goal game. Goodness if this is an example of his Forward line future the taggers role on him from the oppositions will increase exponentially and watch for the +2 – +3 match ups.

Speaking of Taggers – several did a job on our prolific ball getters but only to the degree or cost of about 5 – 9 possessions each. So well done to our ball movers again

Chooky – still needs heaps of work (especially with his hands) but well done on a 2 goal addition – will do wonders for his confidence not that HIS ego needs it 
Guadagnin another worthy effort but unless I miss my guess there’s something not quite right with him – not sure if it’s an injury? but he’s definitely off his game by some degrees. He remains a amazing praiseworthy team member who grits his footy teeth and gets on with it.
K Manning … 'another' superb game and another 2 goals with certain direct assistance to 2-3 more for the team …. My god, that poor Perth Player that was on the receiving end of Kody’s Hip & Shoulder!! hahahahaha the guys Grandfather would have felt that!!
Wonderful tackling over and over – once again great to hear him clapped off the ground twice during the 2nd half of the game by appreciative supporters. A crime Kody’s not in the AFL … guess some ripe fruit is left on the tree!! Maybe THIS YEAR
Kuenen… how good he remains & that he gets a ‘goal’ – not the usual occurrence for him and he was definitely a happy boy. Huge number of Tap outs .. excellent Rucking.
Lynchy – certainly a starter for next week’s game – wonderful skills shown. It’s certainly going to make it harder for the dropped to come back in or newbies to be blooded to the league if this is the calibre of the step ups.
M Adams – Certainly a stand out on the day . His play making has come so far since last year. The man Mountain belays his size with his speed and his desire for the ball. He can ‘Rag doll’ an opponent and then deftly place a ball on the chest of a team mate, or kick a thunderous kick 50 – 60 metres into the centre – an AFL prospect I suggest

It’s gotta be hard to be a Perth Supporter but still they support and congrats to those that attended and cheered their team when plays called for it.
Much work ahead for you I’m afraid but stick with them – your players need you and the younger ones deserve your appreciation to see you there.

Thanks for the comments Mate... but I will now become a spectator. You only have to come in once a week as it is about the exent of the updates.. :(

Think you are a bit harsh on Gaudy and yesterdays effort was incredible. Actually he seemed to be in and under a little bit more than usual. Loved one play where it got a bit hostile between him and a couple of Perth guys... and he won out. Short time after kicked a goal.
I realize you still see him as a great part of our team from you comments so not having a go at you.

Perth is an enigma and has been over the last few years.. Coaches come and go as do players. but that is no different from any other club in the G7... Note I said G7. I have always had respect for the club and can remember a couple of times where they have run over us when it was not expected. Had guys like Youngy around then. And that guy was a legend. I enjoy Lathlain oval as well with the seating around the boundry etc. A great traditional WAFL ground. I used to love the parking but I assume that area will be used for the EAGLES training oval and we will have to struggle for a park. Maybe a Perth supporter can advise on that?

Perth reserves look very good and I was surprised when they over ran and out played our side who just didnt turn up to play footy. Disappointed is the only word I can think of.
Ok we had a couple of ressies in elevated to League Rhode, Lynch and Shannon just to name 3 who played well and contributed to the win in the League but The Reserves had 3 league players in Manzone/Razor and Crispy who have a lot of experience and influence on games.

It was a strange game with Perth being up up at qtr time by 4 goals and our coach Micheal Pratt gave the ressies a serving at the break. Whoopee they come out and kick 4 goals straight and back in the game... But then along comes Perth and Kicks 4 straight in reply. After that we were not in it. Now could it be the WP coach.. After watching Paul for a few seasons and having a huge appreciation of his football skills and ability to turn games around I just cant see Micheal in the same light who has a completely different approach even a Softly softly approach :( Anyway early days and I could be wrong. Next weeks game against a good Subi reserves side should show if our guys are up to the standard required. Wont mind a loss if they are at LEAST CONSISTENT...

but having said that Perth had some very good players who could of played league and made a difference. Bloody Stack was everywhere even though he only had ten possession he did a lot of work. Florio had a blinder. Ransted was another just to name 3 who will improve the Perth league side. Dont know why they are down in the Ressies considering Perths Problems ? WP played a A team in the Reserves and a B team in the League.

Up to the club to sort that out!

All the best to Perth for the rest of the season.. A few wins could get them into the 5.
They started well last year and fell away. Maybe this year they will start bad and come back? Long way to go yet.

FLASHBACK TO 2011

Yep one to keep.. Funny thing is the next vide that came up was from 2011 where Perth had beaten us. Some good names around then.
We went on to meet SF and lost then lost to EF and EP the week after
Finally got a win v SD in round 23... Into finals.
Knocked out by Subi in the Prelim.
Claremont went on to win the GF...easily... Poor Sicko.. 15,000 at the game.

Full year hear just a flashback from the past
It was a good year. Perth lost a few close one and just couldnt get over the line.

Heres a vide talking of this game and other points of interest
