I see why channel 7 would be struggling to televise the games at ur joint - I don't think they would want to get a shot of the scoreboard too often.

That's great game day exposure for your major sponsor though with the scoreboard and time clock - actually looks good !!!

Geez ur right about Chris Yarran losing some weight. This kid can seriously play and if he further improves and gets his fitness right up to scratch will have an impact in future years. I thought he might have let his opportunity slip after seeing his condition early last season at Basso but somewhere along the way the mindset has changed. Kudos to all involved and well done to Chris for putting in the necessary work. His upside has the potential to be huge if he keeps on track and I for one hope we get to see it as he can be a devastating player when he is on.

Cardy, is there any suggestion from the weekend's game that Peel may have compromised their ability to win on the day (eg resting players at crucial stages) to satisfy the playing agenda of the Dockers hierarchy?!?
Read your excellent review of the game but in seeing that it was a game of 2 halves on the scoreboard thought is ask.

Dont think so mate as they said on 91.3 that Duffield and Barlow were going to sit out the last qtr that would give us a chance of winning... They both played out the last qtr..
I can remember Barlow standing on the boundry interchange as well giving plenty of advice.
Sounds like Lyon even wanted a win as he gave a stirring speech to rev up the Peel players or should I say the 15 Dockers.
Our guys busted their guts and it all seemed to fall into place. Looking at the final winning margin not much in it just one or two kicks. Most of the WP players stood up and were all doing their part. Meanwhile the individuals at Peel just made sure they played to the camera knowing Lyon would be looking at it later. They must of forgot they had team mates but I use that term loosely.. Peel is going to have a long season as they wont have the key Dockers playing for them from now on and Cam Shepard will be TOLD how to use the Dockers he does have and you will find guys who are comming back will get limited play time. I actually feel sorry for the bloke

In a way I am glad we dont host Eagles anymore. I can remember one day where we had Hutchy (love the guy) and he was only allowed to play 10 mins in each qtr. I would say it pissed him off and also the faithful as well.. I certainly doesnt help with the rotations and the bench if injuries do occur..

Couldnt help but look the Media... ABC Radio and 7 at one game
No broadcast of the WP V Perth game... Oh well might get a few more through the gate

No update on Injuries at WPFC Site yet. if we had any. Didnt see any except for Chris with the Ankle. There is another one being Max Alexander and Jordon Jones will be out until after the bye with his Hammy. Should get an indication from the team lists on Thursday night if not put up on WP site. Matt Fowler should get another run due to his size after a pretty poor performance v Peel. Max being out will put us down a big player as well.
We certainy have some depth in the Reserves at the moment

No reports came out of the game. I see Lewie was a victim in this lot.. thats a change
