Jordon Jones out for five weeks. Hamstring. Marcus Adams scans on foot tomorrow????????. Reserves lost by three points. Papertalk has to play next week, I liked Fotheringhams game today and I can see him playing in the league soon. I would give Chris Yarren a go in the league next week, put Lourey in the backline. Not a good start in all three grades, hopefully the boys settle down and beat Peel next week.
Forgot to mention Zanetti with a back injury. Looks like the same injury as last year.

Looking at the Ressies game stats etc we should have the players to come up
Sad to hear about Zanetts though we a least had a back up ruckman but like young
Timothy Sutherland who seem to carry the ruck today anyway looking at Hit Outs and possessions at 14 shows he is good around the ground.
Yarren and Papertalk with 2 goals apiece must be looked at in the forward line as both have impressed. Shannon looks good as well and must be considered.
Lets hope the Brains trust at WP can get in early with these guys while they STILL HAVE TIME.

Sutherland will more than likely play in the backline because the lose of Jones and Adams means we don't have any positional players to come from the reserves. I think Lourey will have to play in the backline, this move will settle him into the side. Bill has to play form players not name players, I was surprised with some selected players on Friday night. Papertalk has to play, he was good in the pre-season games and I think Matt Fowler has to take over where slick left off. Perhaps the late pre-season start may be detrimental to the over all fitness & skills in the early part of the season.

Why wouldn't they play an ex-state under 18s Full Back and ex-Colts team of the year Full Back where he plays his best footy? We have waited long enough for him to be a forward - he isn't!
