For some unknown reason this post ended up in The Bar heading. The seconds won the game by a few points and the league won by two points. The game was played in drizzle in the first half where WP didn't score a goal during two twenty five minute quarters. Swans were five goals up until half time. The second half was played in two fifteen minute quarters. WP piled on seven goals to win the game. Luke meadows kicked two goals and Matt Fowler kicked five. There were a heap of players rested and a bunch of players didn't play the second half. Jordan Jones played a blinder at full back, Drew Rohde now has number eleven played well, Luke Meadows and Aidan Lynch both bullocked through the packs, they were good. Nick Rodda went off injured as with Matt Johnson. Had a chat with Seva, he's out for the whole year. Chris Yarran showed he's got stuff to show with some good goals and has football smarts so its going to be very interesting how the forward line will line up with Fowler / Lourey [who didn't get into the game today] Yarran / Alexander / Rodda / Zanetti [who rucked today] and Meadows who has grown a few feet taller.

Thought this one would be a close one , they always are between the Cardies & Swannies

Also the issue with Tyler Keitel is now in the hands of the arbitrator who is scrutinising all the statements from all concerned and there should be an announcement by Tuesday. He was at the game today. The situation with Michael Pettigrew is that he has a job in Perth that requires him to work Saturdays, this arrangement may change, hopefully.

Pettigrew has agreed to play with Toodyay for $750 a game. Even if he didn't have to work Saturdays he won't be at the Falcons!

Does anyone know why the 3rd and 4th quarters were about 15 minutes only?

How did Chris Yarran, Callum Trent(Papertalk) and Eddie Hill go? Interested as they were at Basso last year and all were an important part of my Grand Final side. Thanks!
