Love the Idea.. other ways around it .. wear a shirt with a BIG 9 on it and make sure you stand behind the interviews LOL.
How about chn 9 having a segment on ACA? Sure many who are not even WP supporters will be really put off by it and it will come back to kiss chn 7 on the arse

Channel 9 could show a ad every week promoting the WPFC game and get a few more to that game as well.. Should get a few more thru the gate.

I am sure a few more good idea's could come out from the OZ FOOTY crowd.

Secondly, if the television access issue is covered by a licence condition, then you can make a complaint directly to the ACMA.

You probably right Unk therefore will have to revert to guerrilla warfare mentality...lets invade the grounds and spray paint the logo at both ends on to the grass thru the night. Cardy's on to it with the Logo shirt idea...they can't decloth spectators.

Without going in to too much detail for fear of recrimination from my end, my workplace is currently a supplier of beverages on a weekly basis to 'guess who'. Pain in the arse and demanding lot that they are, rest assured they will be receiving some significant price increases next week which will inaccurately reflect recent CPI increases and more accurately reflect my disgust in regards to their ridiculous, childish, big bully approach towards the WPFC for what in reality is a trivial matter....and to think our WAFL clubs are being asked to finance this childish near sighted behaviour. Where ever you are nowadays Rick Ardon, tell your lot to pull their heads out of their own arses and do the right thing.

Funny this is such a big issue but when they use footage from opposition networks during their sports reports which maintain that company's logo in the corner ie cricket footage with the nine logo, they don't kick and scream about it. Not a problem when it suits them, only when some morons in suits get on power trips. As the title of this topic says....SHAME on you 7...Fat Cat is an appropriate mascot for your station even if he/she does have 9 lives

West Perth games should be on tv and we do bring some good crowds at HBF Arena

When West Perth were negotiating with ch9 over sponsorship they were warned by the WAFC about pending talks with ch7 over televising the footy . They went ahead anyway and now are not going to be televised this season . Hardly suprising . Good publicity for ch9 in the media but I think West Perth have hardly done the right thing by there other sponsors who wont be exposed to the tv audience . If ch9 had won the tv rights and refused to televise East Perths matches due to ch7 being on their shirts I wonder how many of you would be jumping up and down at the disgraceful actions of the tv company .

I think the point is Ch 9 were never going to win the gig anyway, because of ch 7 being aligned to Eagles, hence hardly a level playing field to start off with

Will Channel 7 be removed off the East Perth jumpers this year? Conflict of interest why should East Perth get more money from Channel 7 when Channel 7 now have the broadcasting rights to the whole league and should be demonstrating non-biased views.

For the 7 true WAFL clubs left in the league, clubs must work their backsides off this year to get more people through the gates because the WAFC and Channel 7 have done them no favours.

MoM in some ways it is better for us to be televised at away games rather than home games; less impact on our gate takings.

Cardy I am sure that the WAFC have very good legal representation. Similarly, I am sure that their legal representation would have informed the WAFC that under no circumstances would they be able to insist that West Perth removes themselves from the Channel 9 sponsorship. If the WAFC were to do that, I suspect that West Perth's short to medium term need for sponsorship would be resolved was they would receive significant damages from the WAFC.

With such brilliant administrators involved in the WAFC that situation would never happan.
