Just been doing some calculations based on the week by week best player lists for West Perth and the results prior to the game against Perth are interesting.

Reserves F & B, I have
Brayden Antonio on 22 votes, ahead of
Aidan Lynch on 21 and
Corey Chalmers with 19,
so, heading into the last qualifying game of the season, I would suggest any of these three could take out the gong on October 3rd at the Breckler Medal night.

Interestingly enough, the LEAGUE side is just as tight at the top going into the last game. I have
Aaron Black on 34,
Shane Nelson & Laine Rasmussen equal 2nd on 33 votes.

I have used the best players list from the WAFL website and made my calculations based on 5 for 1st listed, followed by 4, 3, 2 as in most games there only seems to be 4 players listed, some players could pick up votes each week and be in contention.

NOTE that in the first League game, no best players were listed, so this could also make a difference to the count.

Based on the player auction winners, there are three players that achieved best on ground three times. Laine Rasmussen for the league, Aiden Lynch and Brayden Antonio for the Reserves. Given that Brayden played some league matches, I would back Aiden Lynch.
However there is one round to go for league and the reserves there could possibly be four.
